Percutaneous Tissue Anchor

This polyester ribbon was designed to be deployed through a catheter. The ribbon would be inserted through a hole in the tissue and then the ribbon would fold up and clamp on both sides of the tissue by pulling on the suture sewn within the ribbon as shown in the pictures. The folded shape would then resemble a pledget that is currently used to make atraumatic secure attachments to tissue in open procedures.
